A Glimmer of Hope Foundation, ‘the symbol of the cure”, is widely recognized in the Pittsburgh area. For the past fourteen years, the foundation has been dedicated to raising funds to further breast cancer research in pre-menopausal women. Since the incidence of breast cancer in women under forty is increasing, the foundation is positioning itself to expand its effort to a national level in order to focus more attention to this alarming development.
It now seems to be the appropriate time to incorporate a fresh new look, of course, keeping the same message and promise. In addition to the new brand that will be evident, the website has been updated to give viewers more information about the foundation. Another exciting new development is the fact that, tight end, Heath Miller and his wife, Katie, will be replacing Alan and Julie Faneca and will host the seventh annual Bid for Hope event at Jerome Bettis’ Grille 36.
